Accommodation and catering at Lendrick Muir
Come and stay for the weekend – or longer! Enjoy flexible accommodation, ideal for youth groups, conferences and more.
Three flexible units
At Lendrick Muir the house is divided into several different areas and you can book one or more of these, depending on the size of your group:
Moubray
This part of the original house features a grand staircase and the rather beautiful Drawing Room. Sleeps from 31 up to 42, in rooms of 2 to 8 guests. All sleeping accommodation is on the first floor.
Ochil
Also in the main house is the Ochil unit which can host up to 73 guests (56 minimum) over the first and second floor, as well as one disabled access room on the ground floor. Rooms sleep 1 to 7 guests. You’ll have access to the Kilpatrick Room (our large, flexible meeting room), the sunny Orangery and quiet Library for relaxing.
Glendevon
This modern wing of the house offers ground floor sleeping accommodation for up to 50 (minimum 37). 8 out of the 11 bedrooms are en-suite and vary in size from 1 to 8 beds. The unit also includes a large meeting room, lounge, ramp access and bathroom facilities for wheelchair users.
Kitchens
Our commercial standard kitchens each include at least one six burner gas cooker with oven, commercial dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and food mixer. Cooking utensils, baking trays, cutlery and crockery are all provided. We also provide cleaning materials and liquids for dishes, surfaces, dishwasher and floors, kitchen linen and black bags.
We recycle
There are facilities to recycle glass, plastics, aluminium and food.
Catering options
When you book with us you can choose whether you want a self-catered, part-catered or fully-catered event. Here’s how it works:
Self-catered
You are responsible for planning and cooking all meals, serving, clearing and washing dishes. On arrival, a member of staff will carry out a kitchen induction with your chief cook.
Part-catered
The Lendrick Muir staff will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner but you will serve meals, clear, wash and store used dishes; clear and wipe tables; and reset for the next meal. There is a dishwasher in each unit for this purpose as well as cloths and dishtowels. You are also responsible for providing and preparing snacks and suppers. The centre will provide tea, coffee and milk, but groups are asked to bring their own eatables. The centre will provide a tray of baking on arrival as part of our welcome to you. Evening meal on arrival can be booked at an extra cost.
Fully-catered
Centre staff will prepare and serve all meals and wash up afterwards. A light supper will be laid out for self service. Evening meal on arrival can be booked at an extra cost. Catered groups are required to clear used dishes onto trolleys.
- Please let us know about special dietary requirements in advance, so we can cater for everyone.
- Guests visiting for the day will have use of booked units plus the shared centre facilities. We need to know numbers of day visitors beforehand and any dietary needs.
