We believe that prayer should be the foundation of everything that happens at Lendrick Muir and as people pray for Lendrick Muir it changes things!
So how can you pray for Lendrick Muir?
With groups in the centre nearly 52 weeks of the year, please pray for opportunities for young people to hear the gospel and see God’s love in action through the staff and volunteers. Please pray for all the groups that bring children and young people to the centre, that they would be able to build on the great teaching they give through the year in SU groups, assemblies, churches and schools. In 2020 SU Scotland and Powerpoint are continuing the fantastic ministry started by Soul Survivor with the festival Magnitude. This year 1000+ young people came and had the opportunity to hear amazing teaching, worship together and have fun. Please pray for the organising committee of Magnitude, for wisdom and guidance as they take on this exciting but challenging ministry.
Lendrick Muir is made up of a team of around 60 staff and volunteers. Please pray for the spiritual growth of the team particularly during our Morning Thought sessions. Please also pray we would excel in our teamwork and bring passion to our work with young people.
No matter the time of year, each team faces times of being stretched. Currently the facilities team are hard at work making improvements to the site while there are fewer groups in. Pray each team has times of rest so that they can work at full strength during their busy seasons.
It is our desire at Lendrick Muir that we never find ourselves in maintenance mode. We want to continually improve our facilities and create fresh and new experiences for our guests to ensure they have the best visit possible. Right now our teams are creating a new activities hub to ensure we can store equipment close to the activities so children have more time enjoying the activities. We are also creating a drying room inside the main building so that children do not need to go outside in the wet to get their equipment.
Please pray the funds needed for these continual improvements come in and the leadership team have wisdom in how to prioritise spending. Please also pray for safety on the projects, particularly the facilities team.
Thank you for your prayers.
